About us

Ship of Theseus Barges operate a 12-meter x 5.05-meter floating barge and supporting equipment. The barge has 20 tonne load capacity, perfect for all your marine project needs. The barge is modular comprising two pontoons making it easily road transportable on a standard semi-trailer, easy assembly on the water, and ready to go wherever your project takes you.

Our base is centrally located between Victoria and New South Wales, but we operate throughout Australia.

We have extensive experience working closely with drilling contractors for undertaking overwater geotechnical investigations for infrastructure projects. Our drilling partners are licensed to operate the barge and support vessels reducing costs of having additional operators

Our barge can be utilised in a wide range of marine environments including rivers, estuaries, dams, ports and marinas for a variety of uses including construction, bridge maintenance and drilling investigations.

Supporting the barge operations, are our other vessels include the work punt with crew and equipment carrying capacity and our 3 tonne Maeda mini crane for placing anchor blocks in areas where conventional anchoring is not possible such as dam spillways.
